We have set high expectations of learning & development amongst tutors and consultants, who are all professionals within their field of expertise and all qualified at a postgraduate level with many in the pursuit or possession of a doctorate of philosophy within their chosen disciplines. We find pupils are increasingly not in possession of the necessary tools to pursue their academic careers to fruition – and we are here to provide them.
We are unique in our approach of offering study skills, critical thinking skills, aptitude and life skills options that can be either incorporated in tuition sessions or can be delivered through personalised action plans with the tutor. Pupils have the opportunity to undertake various life skills modules in addition to the academic elements that include sports, skills based activities and voluntary service. We also provide The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award training and can tailor residential mentoring programmes during vacation periods. Currently we offer the following Life Skills options:

Residential mentoring programmes

Key Stage 1: Years 1 to 2 (5-7 years old)
Key Stage 2: Years 3 to 6 (7-11 years old)
Key Stage 3: Years 7 to 9 (11-14 years old)
Our tutors help pupils prepare for the 11+ and 13+ UK schools common entrance tests such as the Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Science, Maths, and English subsets. We incorporate basic learning, writing and memory skills into our lessons and provide sample papers to work through.
The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examinations are taken by students aged 14-16. We cover all of the GCSE subjects and languages across all the exam boards. In addition to the syllabus content we incorporate study skills and aptitude into our lessons. A variety of learning strategies are utilized to implement the Key Stage 4 skills set. These study skills are incorporated into each subject. Revision guides and workbooks are provided for each subject, and sample papers throughout the course of your 1-1 tutor led lessons.
The Advanced Level is the qualification of choice for entry into UK universities and is taken by students aged 16-18. Competition for university places in the UK is fierce with most expecting exceptional grades from their applicants. Our tutors cover all subjects and our tutorials focus around the syllabus and techniques to achieve the highest grades. Exam techniques are particularly important and the student is shown how to prepare and construct exam answers using past papers and specimen questions directly from exam boards.
Our Language Centre offers tailored language courses to your specific level and requirements through 1 to 1 lessons. We can tailor your tuition towards English proficiency examinations such as the ESOL, IELTS and TOEFL. Our tutors are expert linguists and deliver language courses both online and 1-1 in London. We provide Elocution and English pronunciation courses which can also be incorporated into lessons. We also specialise in the following foreign languages:

During the induction, the tutor will aid the pupil identify lesson objectives and clarify their needs; focusing on their individual strengths and weaknesses with the language. We supply course books based on this assessment and during your tuitions we may supply a variety of additional media such as newspapers and CD’s to further stimulate your development.
We offer tuition for those sitting entrance exams to Medicine, Law and Business at top UK universities such as the BMAT, UKCAT & GMAT and identify unique techniques to help you through each subtest. We also offer tuition for admissions tests to a number of courses at Oxford and Cambridge. We help you prepare for the UCAS application process, and hopefully interviews to Medical & Law schools and other disciplines. Whilst at University experienced tutors are at hand to facilitate your progress up to PhD level.
In the United Kingdom most professional qualifications are ‘Chartered’ qualifications awarded by professional bodies, and follow on from having completed a degree an or equivalent qualification such as the ACCA or ACA for example. Such qualifications are highly desirable if not essential training in certain professions. We provide specialist 1-1 tuition for those sitting these exams and also cover the GDL, LPC and various examinations from the specialist Medical Royal Colleges.
